New IPL Men’s Athletic Pro, Henri Hiro!
It was all about the Return Of Henri Hiro at the 2017 IPL Tahiti Pro/Am on Saturday October 14th on the island of Tahiti, French Polynesia.
Just five months prior, Hiro first hit the IPL Tahiti stage at the May Tahiti Championship. At that contest he dominated in Men’s Athletic Masters 40+ as well as Men’s Sports Model Masters 40+, earning his IPL Pro Cards in both. Many were surprised that he did not enter the Open classes, as he would have certainly done well in those also.
In October, Henri Hiro was back. This time he would enter the Open’s. Starting with Men’s Athletic Open, Henri Hiro was prepared for battle, his toughest competition being LaMark Robinson who traveled all the way from Midwest USA to mix it up on the Tahiti stage.
However, none if his competitors could hold him back, as he landed in 1st place. And needing a minimum of 126 points (out of a max 180), Henri Hiro earned 131 and became the IPL’s newest Men’s’ Athletic Pro. Shout out to LaMark Robinson (2nd) and Herdeman Chang (3rd) who rounded out the top 3.
As For Henri Hiro’s additional results… 2nd place in Men’s Sports Model Open, 1st place in Beach Body Open and Beach Body Masters. Quite an impressive second IPL outing. Michael Brooks Photography.
